Joining Seaton Partners in August 2019, Amy Towell wanted to complete her apprenticeship in CT Skills Level 3, Business Administration so she could train on the job and earn as she does so. Over the last 18-months, we have seen her blossom and we are pleased to offer Amy a position as Project Management Administrator.
As an ambitious Microsoft Gold Partner, Seaton Partners is a fast-growing business, which delivers and supports digital transformation projects in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, HR and Power Platform, for Enterprise customers based across the globe.
During her journey, Amy has taken everything in her stride. Working predominately with the Project Management Office, Amy is often in a fast-paced environment which requires administrative support in reactive and proactive measure.
To begin, Amy took over tasks from another apprentice who was moving into the consultancy team. Before lockdown, Amy booked hotels, took telephone calls, welcomed guests, attended the resource meeting, and co-hosted a ‘Lunch and Learn’ with technical quick tips and advice which proved valuable to the whole team. Amy also attended customer sites and provided support to the annual Customer Day, and in recent months supported with a virtual Company Conference.
All whilst undertaking complimentary assignments with CT Skills which aligned with the learnings in the office and covered topics such as regulations, policy, and strategy. Finishing with an End Point Assessment, a knowledge test with 50 questions, and a presentation based on a Standard Operating Procedures project.
Sara Bliss, Chief Operating Officer, Seaton Partners, comments: “When Amy walked into Seaton Partners, she was as quiet as a mouse but over the last 18-months, she has pushed herself outside of her comfort zones and her confidence has really grown as a result. To see her presenting full company presentations, receive a brief and execute with support from the wider team and knuckle down with her apprenticeship has been a pleasure. We’re really pleased to welcome her into the team as Project Management Administrator”.
“My apprenticeship has allowed me to study for a qualification whilst receiving guidance, building relationships, and being paid a salary. Seaton Partners and CT Skills have been so supportive, I’m always encouraged and there’s always someone to help me with my assignments. I’d recommend anyone considering the apprenticeship route to do so, it opens doors and creates opportunities.”.
