The Dynamics 365 release plan (formerly release notes) for the 2020 release wave 1 describes all new features releasing from April 2020 through September 2020, available to view online or download as a PDF file.
The Power Platform features for 2020 release wave 1 have been summarised in a separate plan here.
Microsoft is on track with updates for the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 2020 wave 1 release with 70 percent having now been shipped, and the remainder due in September as planned.
This is just in time for the October 1 general availability release wave 2 but there is two further dates the community should prepare for:
- July 8th: Microsoft will publish release plans
- August 3rd: early access to new features and capabilities will begin
The release documents will provide the initial list of features for the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 2020 release which will roll out from October 2020 to March 2021. The release documents often contain the majority of upcoming updates, but Microsoft does hold back a few, previous examples include product naming, big new features, or newly acquired IP.
